This was the first game in the new Saputo Stadium in Montreal. Our team, Montreal Impact wonagainst the Seattle Sounders FC with a score of 4-1. A great way to celebrate the opening of the recently renovated stadium. The atmosphere was really nice even though it was not a sold out crowd. I was seated in a corner as you can see from the pictures and about halfway to the top row but the view was excellent and as they claimed in recent press conferences, you feel very close to the field.
I really like the results I got from my LX3. It handled things beautifully. Thanks to shooting in RAW and using Lightroom 4, I managed to balance things a bit. The weird colors you get from those stadium lamps need a little love to come out as they should. The same goes with the pretty high contrast between the field and the darker areas in the crowd.
